PHNOM PENH: Her Majesty Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk has congratulated Prime Minister Hun Sen on receiving the Distinguished World Leader Lifetime Achievement Award from the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia-Pacific.

In a letter dated Monday, 19 December 2022, Her Majesty Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk wrote that she is pleased to hear that Prime Minister Hun Sen received the "Distinguished World Leader Lifetime Achievement Award" from the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia-Pacific based in Malaysia.

"I would like to congratulate the above-mentioned wonderful news and sincerely applaud Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo (full honorary title) for his noble merits, magnificent heroism, and his role as a wise guide in leading the Kingdom of Cambodia to peace, social stability, and national development in all fields,” wrote the Queen Mother.

The Distinguished World Leader Lifetime Achievement Award was presented by the Global Chinese Economic & Technology Summit and the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia-Pacific.

The decision to present this award to the Prime Minister of Cambodia was made after the KSI Institute studied and evaluated his leadership qualities and achievements, deeming him worthy of the award. The Institute noted the Prime Minister’s ability, wisdom, and conscience for the nation and people of Cambodia, acknowledging that he has been working tirelessly to bring Cambodia peace, tranquility, progress, and prosperity.
